Galaxy Fold Vs. Mae X foldable phones

The Samsung galaxy fold and Huawei’s mate X are both here, which offers two different takes on foldable devices. Both are made for inspiration, and to help us transform how we think about the phones at hand. While they aren’t yet everyday phones, they set the course for foldable phones that are good instead of the really giant ones that we currently have.

Hype for these kinds was something that happened near the beginning of the year, and it’s the start of the revolution of this type of design. A screen that bends in half does feel futuristic, and you can double the screen real estate while keeping the device half in size as you carry it around. But, the flaws with the galaxy fold screen and the fears over the phone sturdiness have dampened the hype for these.

The ability to bend and have a flexible screen is a hallmark of these phones early on, but their screens bend in different directions, and the cameras are different too, and the difference does change this.

They are expensive as well, but here, we’ll go over which ones are better in terms of style, price, and functionality.

Now, the primary difference is of course, in the way that they folded.  The foldable plastic screen on the Samsung is inside, and the Mate X is actually on the outside. It’s got a plastic inner screen that’s protected by the outer part.  There is a glass cover with a display that you can use when you close the phone in.

The Mate X is actually outside of the device, and it can change based on how you hold it, and you can flip this both front and rear-facing.  This is a great way to help reduce the distortion to the images, and change the interface, and it resizes always to the correct aspect ratio.

He Mate X will give you much more flexibility, and the Samsung phone does have an outer display that’s too cramped to use, and I is like a close tablet, while the Mate X feels like a big phone that you can open to a much larger screen. With just a flick of the wrist, you get a more usable screen as you hold it.

The biggest downside to the Mate X is the way it’s fully exposed.  It will endanger the phone because it will have a chance that it could be subjected to nicks, scratches, and pressure as well, which means it could die even before you use it.  We won’t early know until we test it though, and that is something that’s still in the process.

There is also the fact that when the foldable phones showed up, the response was immediate. Many of them don’t like the crease that goes down your center screen, and for folding phones, you will have to deal with the bump since the screen does go slack when the phone is unfolded, and it comes with the territory for now. the galaxy fold has a visible crease to the naked eye, and you feel it with the hand, but it’s also less noticeable when you use the phone than on the mate X, since the screen feels a little bit less creased. It’s going to be there.

Currently, right now the mate X is the better option than the ugly notch that the Samsung phone has, but we’ll need to do further tests on the usability of this, and which one will look better and perform better in the long run as well.

The iPhone 8 Vs. the XR: Which is Better?

With the iPhone 11 out, it’s time to nab an older model, especially if you want something cheaper, and better for you.  The XR is one of the few options for bigger screens, but don’t want to pay almost a grand for the latest model.  With the 8 plus, it’s about 50 bucks less, and it has the classic design, along with the home button, and while it is an older model, it’s got the same advantages that the XR does have.

So which is better for you? Continue reading to find out.

For those who want something that involves gesture navigation, emojis that are animated, and face unlock, the XR is the way to go, and it’s one of the best types of iPhones currently on the market for a decent price. It has a big screen, a good body, and the performance is great. It also contains wireless charging too, and it’s pretty much as good as the XS model.

Then you have the 8 plus, which is a lot cheaper than it was a year ago.  This one is pretty great because the processor is a little bit less advanced, but still sports that famous home button, so you don’t’ have to learn gestures or face unlock for this. However, this done doesn’t have the dual-sim capabilities, and the processor and camera are definitely not as good. If you’re concerned about specs, you shouldn’t get this one. The 8 plus has a 12 MP camera, along with the physical home button, and if you’re trying to delay the evitable, this might be great, but otherwise, it does fall short compared to the newest ones.

The XR has more vibrant colors, a better screen, and it’s also smaller and lighter. But, the 8 plus has the home button, which is something that people may miss. It also has a slightly higher resolution and more pixels per inch. Unlike the XR either, this one keeps that classic home button and fingerprint scanner, which is something we may not see until perhaps the iPhone 12.

While the 8 plus is more iconic in design, the XR does feel good in your hands, and comes in different colors too.

The camera is another part of this too. The XR has a front-facing camera which can map your face, and you can use face ID to unlock. Though, the 8 plus has a dual camera setup. However, the ones on the XR look better, and more vibrant to the look. While this doesn’t mean the 8 plus is bad, but you do notice the finer details on the XR a lot more than you do the 8 plus.

Finally, we have a performance. This should be obvious, but the XR is much faster, both on paper and in practice and his is thanks to the A12 processor that’s in it.  The 8 has a previous model chipset, so it definitely falls a bit short on the benchmark chipsets.

So which one is better for you? If you don’t care about specs, or if you just want something that gets the job done, then get an 8 plus. If you want to delay an upgrade, an 8 plus works.

But, if you want something a bit sleeker, a bit better, and will hold you over for a bit longer, I highly recommend the XR. It completely trounces the 8 plus in performance capabilities, and it’s something that you should definitely consider if you’re looking to have something that gets the job done easily, and quite readily as well.

The iPhone 11 Vs. the XR: Which is the Better Buy?

When apple put out the iPhone 11 series a few months ago, many people were surprised at the mere price of the based iPhone 11 model, since it was about 50 bucks cheaper than the XR, and the XR reduced in price too. With many of the new prices on the forefront, and the holidays quickly approaching, we’ll look at which one is better for the gift-giving season, and why it matters.

First, we have the iPhone 11, which has dual rear cameras, a night mode for shooting, and of course a 12 MP front-facing shooter, this one does have a lot of tricks for videos and photos.  It has really good picture and videos, and I is one of the advantages you’re paying for. It also contains the U1 chip and wifi-6, which is for the future.  It is a next-gen phone in terms of the features that are there so if you want a more modernistic phone for the coming years, this is the best you can get. But, since they’re not totally built ye, there aren’t immediate advantages, which is why the XR is still higher in ranking.

The XR is one that’s a little bit cheaper, still runs iOS 13 just as fine as the 11 does, and comes with the A11 chipset, and it has a decent amount of tech. while it doesn’t have the updated camera and the ultrawide camera like the 11 does, the XR is just as fine for posting photos and taking them. If you’re on a budget, the XR is still a great phone, and you could save 100 bucks with this. Who knows, might be worth it.

The design isn’t really all that different. The 11 has the extra camera and looks like a strange face, while the XR only has two cameras. The 11 also comes in different body colors, such as lavender, green, and a yellow, while the XR has a canary yellow, a blue, and a coral, and there really isn’t’ an obvious difference. They literally are the same size and weight, and both of them have the same resolution, pixel density, and also the same LCD display.  The 11 is a bit better and doesn’t have cosmetic cracks when dropped, unlike the XR which can’t survive more than a waist high fall.

Both of them are water-resistant as well, but the 11 does have much higher IP rating, and it can survive much longer underwater.  The XR still can survive pretty well, about a meter underwater on paper, and the XR still worked when tested. Both of them can survive pretty well, but the 11 does exceed many of the promises.

The biggest difference is the camera. The camera is of course, what everyone loves about the 11. It’s got the best camera in an iPhone, and with the new updates, it’ll work well for both indoors and outdoors, and also works well.

In terms of performance, the 11 has a slightly better performance, but of course, compared to other phones, the XR still holds up pretty well, and it is good of those looking to budget and have a little bit of extra cash, and who aren’t ready to move to the newer models yet.

Of course, it’s ultimately up to you. If you like the value of the XR, then by all means get it. If you want something that’s new and flashy, then 11 is what you need to look into. Both are good phones in their own ways though.

The Best Smartphones Right now: A Buyer’s guide

Do you need a new smartphone, but aren’t sure of who to go with? With so many to choose from, this is much easier said than done. Flagship smartphones have become better than ever in quality, and whether you need a long battery life, a good camera, or even just a nice screen, there’s a lot.  in this, we’ll show the best smartphones that have been released, and the best available models currently.

The best overall is the OnePlus 7T pro, and this is one that improves on the original OnePlus models, but it’s a big phone with an AMOLED screen that runs at a very fast pace. It’s the best in the business currently, with a crisp and smooth screen, free of ugly notches, and a very responsive interface. It’s also very fast, and it feel slick, and it includes android 10. It even has a wonderful camera system too, with a 48 MP main, and a 16 MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8 MP telephoto camera.  This also contains super macro mode, which brings up crisp images. It also lasts almost 2 days, making it exceptionally powerful.

The best iPhone, is of course the 11 pro. It’s a bit smaller, but it’s super fast, has a wonderful camera and the new A13 chip leads the pack. It’s one of the best, and if you want something that has the ability to be used in the future, it’s worth it.  The camera is good, and has a great night mode too. It’s a step forward from the previousiPhone models, that’s for sure.

Finally, for best smaller android, the S10 leads the pack.  It’s got a very big screen, some nice bezels that work, and it also comes with the new UI2 software, which is based on the latest android 10 that includes better navigation, along with a triple camera too. While it won’t beat the pixel 4, the 11 pro or other Samsung Galaxy phones, it does pretty well the battery life is the one downside of this, lasting only a day in use.

Finally, for the best camera, you have the Huawei P30 pro. This is one that is comprehensive, and it comes with a 20 MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 40 MP camera that works amazingly, along with the 5X optical zoom that gets you closer than any other phone. The zoom is great, but also works amazingly in low-light situations, and will turn night and day on without needing to wait for the capture on this.  This also does have a pretty nice night mode, and while it isn’t the best in night sight, chances are you won’t’ need it that much.

It’s pretty sizable, with many different color options, letting it wield easily compared to other phones.

So what isn’t recommended? Well, the google pixel 4 for starters. Might be a good phone, but the battery life is pretty terrible on this.

The Razer phone 2 is a gaming phone that has a really bad camera performance. If you’re interested in anything but the camera, it might be a good option, but otherwise, it’s not worth it.

Finally, the last option is the Sony Xperia XZ3. This is a good one, but compared to the other phones that are out there, this one totally miss the mark.

There are a ton of phones out there on the market today, and a lot to choose from, and as you can see, not all of them are created equal, so remember that next time you’re choosing a great phone to use.
